Preparation and Provision of Anonymous Processed Information to Third Parties

The Personal Information Protection Law requires that when anonymous processed information (*) is created using personal information and when such anonymous processed information is provided to a third party, the items of information concerning individuals included in the anonymous processed information and the method of provision of such information shall be made public.

The Foreign Transportation and Finance Health Insurance Association will continue to create anonymized processed information as follows for the smooth implementation of health promotion programs, and will provide it to a receipt analyzing company using electronic means of communication.
Please be advised that the anonymous processed information will be created in a form that does not identify individuals, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law.

(*) Anonymous processed information is information on individuals obtained by processing personal information so that specific individuals cannot be identified by taking measures specified in accordance with the categories of personal information, and such personal information is restored in such a way that specific individuals cannot be re-identified.

    • * Medical insurance eligibility information (enrollment date, withdrawal date, individual/family classification, etc.)
    • * Information on medical expense invoices
    • * Information on medical checkups and health care guidance
